Synopsis: The conclusion to the long-running "Nothing To Fear" storyline unfolds, and the truth behind SHE-CAT's disappearance (and how it ties in with a new group of villains) becomes evident. But WHO is- DARK VICTORY!?! Plus- NIGHTVEIL unleashed & The BLUE BULLETEER & RIO RITA in "retro" solo stories of WWII adventure.
Special Notes: The "Nothing To Fear But Fear Itself" plotline begins it's climax this issue, signaling some major changes in the FEMFORCE Universe, and possibly to the FF line-up itself, ushering in a new era in FEMFORCE history. But alongside the new , we remember what came before, with not one but TWO back-up stories set in the early days of the FF's history, the 1940's, starring two of the group's charter members, The BLUE BULLETEER and RIO RITA.

I'm the inker on one story this issue, and Mark just emailed to say my next six page story for issue 141 will be here this week. I'll only be able to work on it between issues one and two of Elementals, but it's not due until September. I'm happy to be this busy, but when does a fella find time for gaming?

FEMFORCE #141
$6.95, 44 page format, saddle-stitched

Black & white interiors with full color covers.

Fighting a bizarre team of super villains in an antediluvian jungle, The FEMFORCE have "Nothing To Fear", but DEATH comes calling nonetheless- and the team loses a member; while PARAGON & TARA are left behind to deal with a separate menace. PLUS-another untold WWII adventure of- The BLUE BULLETEER!!
Special Notes: The first "big event" to rock the Femforce line-up since Ms. Victory became the villainous RAD in the late 1980's occurs this month, as a member of the team dies. No, it's not a trick, not a dream, not an imaginary tale- it really happens here; opening up the door for lots of interesting story situations in future issues as the team (most of whom are virtually invulnerable, and while not actually immortal, have greatly-expanded life spans) must deal with the first real, permanent loss to it's ranks. Storyline architect Chris Irving (now with TwoMorrows Publishing) crafts a thoughtful & poignant drama.
Writer's and Artist's Names: Writers include Gardner Fox & Ray Krank; artists include Bob Powell, Joe Kubert, Norman Maurer, Frank Bolle, Dick Ayers, Fred Guardineer, Myron Fass.
